As an extension of the classroom, that athletic program of Providence Classical Christian Schoolis designed to move our students in the direction they should be going: toward the likness of Christ.  "For from the very beginning God decided that those who came to Him should become like His son." (Romans 8:29)  This means instilling each athlete with the Spirit of Christ in everything we say and do: "When the spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control... (Galatians 5: 22-23).

Providence Classical Christian School recognizes that God has gifted students in various ways.  We want to provide an opportunity for these students to devlop and use their God-given abilities.  We also believe that athletic and extra-curricular activities enhance the atmosphere of the school's student body by providing students and parents an opportunity to express a positive school spirit.

"Training in Excellence to the Glory of God"

Our goal is to provide students with a swim program which allows them to have fun while engaged in the sport of swimming.
We believe it is vital to make swimming fun and enjoyable so students develop a love for the water and the sport of swimming. We place emphasis on building endurance along with enhancing swim techniques and strokes, the rules of competition, and sportsmanship. We want to give our swimmers the preparation and tools they need to make swimming a lifetime activity.
Swim Club is 1st grade - 12th grade
Warriors Swim Team is 6th grade - 12th grade
Swim levels are divided into ability not age.  The red cross Learn to Swim program is taught to all swim club students.  Stacie Hart is a certified swimming instructor and runs the swim club and Warrior Swim team.  Our swim club begins at level 2.  This program is for students who are familiar with the water and have an understanding of some strokes.  This is not for a beginner.
